What began as a humble shelf pantry with enough space to serve only a handful of students at a time has grown into a vital Basic Needs Center. Today, we offer food, housing, and emergency support for thousands of students each year.  
 

Over the past decade, the landscape of student needs continues to change. The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted how quickly and drastically circumstances can shift, underscoring the importance of having strong, adaptable support systems in place. Beyond the pandemic, rising costs of living and shifting economic realities continue to shape the student experience and challenges students face in securing essentials like food, housing, and financial stability.  

The ongoing demand for basic needs support is clear: these services are not only critical, but integral to ensuring every student can succeed. With advocacy, community, and sustained financial support, we can ensure the center will remain a lifeline for students today and generations to come.
