Program Requirements

What happens if a student does not satisfy the requirements for the year?

Emails will be sent throughout the year with a friendly reminder of the requirements and our workshop schedule for the quarter. Students who are unable to complete the requirements may not be allowed to reapply for the following year.

Please note, students utilizing their enrollment in the program as the Student Eligibility for CalFresh, if approved must satisfy annual Fresh Finances requirements in order to continue to use the program as their eligibility. Failure to due so may result in an over-issuance of benefits in which you may be ask to return/pay back benefits issued.

How will progress towards completion of requirement be tracked?

Campus Groups will be used to track attendance for the consultations and workshops. The CalFresh Manager will use an administrative excel sheet to track students’ overall attendance for both the consultation and workshop.

How often will workshops be offered?

There will be 2 workshops offered every quarter (summer, fall, winter, and spring) and the schedule will be made available at the beginning of each quarter.

How long can I be enrolled in the Fresh Finances: Sprout Your Wealth Program?

A student can be enrolled in the program throughout their academic career at UCI conditional upon fulfilling the requirements.
