What is CalFresh?

CalFresh (also known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP) is a nutrition assistance program sponsored by the USDA that helps people purchase healthy foods. The program issues monthly electronic benefits on an EBT card that can be used at most grocery stores and farmers markets!

How much can I receive?

At this time, you can receive up to $291/month in EBT benefits! Orange County Social Services Agency (OCSSA) is responsible for determining if an individual/household qualifies for CalFresh.
