Short-Term Grocery Card Support
Apply for a one-time electronic grocery card that supports students who are not able
to physically access the FRESH Pantry!
Please note this resource is only available to students who are currently experiencing a financial emergency and have exhausted other options. Resource utilization such as pantry visits, CalFresh benefits/eligibility, and subsidized loans will be considered while making a determination. Short-Term Grocery Card Support is not to be used as a cost-savings strategy, and cannot replace Financial Aid resources.
We encourage any student who is facing food insecurity and challenges accessing food assistance to apply to the Grocery Card Support Program. Eligible students can receive an electronic grocery card to the Albertsons Stores (Pavilions, Vons, etc). If approved, the grocery card is delivered electronically to the student’s UCI email.

transportation or other barriers

✔ Not receiving CalFresh Food benefits
✔ Not receiving Emergency Meal Swipes

Mobile Food Pantry
