Volunteer Signups

We welcome UCI-affiliated volunteers during our outdoor, farmers-market style pantry distributions on Wednesdays!

Currently, we are only accepting UCI affiliates (enrolled UCI students, faculty, or staff) who are part of the "UCI Working Well-Daily Symptom Check" to ensure the safety of our students and team members. Please visit OIT's help page for instructions on how to access your "UCI Working Well-Daily Symptom Check."

Volunteering primarily entails food sorting and restocking the food and toiletry distribution line. Once you sign-up for a volunteer shift, you will receive a confirmation email that includes a Volunteer Orientation video that you must watch to prepare for your shift. Each shift has a limited number of volunteer slots to avoid overcrowding of volunteers and staff during distribution days. This means that all interested volunteers must sign up for volunteer shift to familiarize themselves with volunteer expectations and safety protocols in the space. Face shields, disposable masks, and gloves will be provided the day of your shift.

To sign-up for a volunteer shift, please visit our volunteer shift sign-ups page.

If this is your first time volunteering this 2020-21 academic year, please email your completed Volunteer Waiver to Janine at Click the button below to download a PDF copy of the Volunteer Waiver.
