On Campus Opportunities

ASUCI Food Security Commission

The ASUCI Food Security Commission is part of ASUCI's Office of the Internal Vice Presdient. The Food Security Commissioner and her interns work to spread awareness about food insecurity and fight the stigma against it. They are dedicated to creating a dialogue amongst anteaters that can help bring an understanding in our student population regarding food, nutrition, and accessibility.

Check out their site to keep tabs on their events, consider joining their team as an intern, or applying for Food Security Commissioner during the spring!

Be a SOAR Food Pantry Volunteer

The SOAR Food Pantry runs a volunteer program. Volunteers at the Food Pantry have the responsibility of restocking the food pantry at its location in Mesa Court and tabling on Ring Road and at events to inform students about the pantry. It is a great way to get involved with SOAR, on-campus food security work, and UCI in general!
